How do I know if my garage door spring is broken?
If the door suddenly feels very heavy, will not lift, or you heard a loud bang from the garage, a broken spring is a common cause. Stop using the opener and contact us for service.
Can I use the opener if the spring is broken?
It is not recommended. A broken spring can overload the opener and cause additional damage. Stop operating the door until it can be inspected and repaired.
